We had a great day for our Share the Success sale at our new sale location -- Gilbreath Enterprises in Summers, AR. The consignors and sale committee did a great job getting this organized and kicked off. Thanks to all the consignors and volunteers who made this sale possible. Special thanks to Jeanetta Buse for her assistance in clerking the sale.
Top Lot: Consignment by Gilbreath Enterprises, Summers AR, an Open Heifer sired by GAR T510 Traveler 5912 sold for $2250.00 which also included 10 straws of XXG Emulation Ext 7053 to William H Reed, Cane Hill AR.
Top Fall Pair: Consignment by Sugar Springs Ranch, Lincoln AR, Cow sired by Leachman Right Time with heifer calf by side born 9-18-08 and sired by Connealy Lead on, sold for $1975.00 to Johnnie Ramsey, Adair OK.
Top Spring Pair: Consignment by Fair Oaks Farm, Van Buren AR, cow was sired by GAR Yield Grade was bred safe to calve to TC Total 410 sold for $1175.00 to Susan Hudlow, Fayetteville AR. The cows February 2008 heifer calf sired by BR Midland sold for $1200.00 to Mitchell Hankins, Ft Smith AR.
Top Bull: Consignment by Pohlmans Angus, Prairie Grove AR, bull was sired by Pine Creek Traveler 124-1107 sold for $1900.00 to Kathy Baker, Wickes AR.
Lot #1 Bred Heifer was consigned by Riverside Angus, Little Rock AR with all proceeds going to the Arkansas Jr Angus Association sold for $1025.00 to Eddie Garcia, Siloam Springs AR.
